Between two ski descents, on the top floor of the hotel, our space dedicated to teenagers invites them to plunge into a captivating universe.

Base Camp IV (a reference to the last base camp before the ascent of Annapurna) is located outside the hotel, offering little adventurers a unique outdoor play area. A real igloo, a 21-metre slide, angling and curling keep them entertained throughout the day.

It's a place where they can have fun and slide down the slopes, build their own great explorer scenarios and create wonderful childhood memories.

The Hotel Annapurna owes its name to the famous mountaineer Maurice Herzog. Designated leader of the first French expedition to Annapurna, in 1950, he conquered this 8,000-meter peak for the very first time, along with Louis Lachenal.

Christiane and André Pinturault wanted to pay tribute to their friend and celebrate his achievement by naming their hotel after this incredible Nepalese mountain.

Our mascot, a little polar bear, is named "Maurice."

A short story, recounting the adventure of his great expedition, is offered to children staying at the hotel.
