Alain Péant, Head Barman
Alain is a true autodidact and above all a man of the field. After his baccalaureate, he started his first summer season as a bar clerk. This was the beginning of a long and successful career in prestigious establishments, in the summer on the Côte d'Azur and in the winter in Courchevel.
He started at the Hotel Annapurna as a bar clerk at the end of the 1980s alongside the founder of the establishment, grandfather of the current general manager Sandra Pinturault. Over the years, he evolved as an assistant head barman, to become head waiter.
For more than 20 years, he has divided his time between the Château de la Messardière in Saint Tropez and the Hotel Annapurna in Courchevel, where he follows the clients according to the seasons.
Naturally involved and generous, he blossoms on a human level thanks to the sharing and exchanges with his clients, who know and adore him.
